Brian McLaren changing roles at Cedar Ridge

Fancy applying for the role of senior pastor at Cedar Ridge Community Church in Baltimore?

The position’s open now that Brian McLaren is moving to the role of ‘teaching pastor’. Brian’s growth in writing and speaking ministry has led him to the point where something’s got to give. He’ll continue to preach on half the Sundays of the year, with the Senior Pastor taking the other half.

I wonder how that would go. There must be precedents for it. But it would take an incredible amount of trust and poise from both Brian and the new pastor to make their team buzz.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that Duncan, but I have decided not to apply for the position as God wants me here! :)
