Recovering Duncans TV Page Rank
Saturday, March 25th, 2006Changing domain names is a simple thing to do. What is more complex is recovering Google page rank. Duncan’s TV Adland at Blogspot.com has a page rank of 5. At www.duncans.tv, where I set up a week ago, the page rank is at 0.
Strategies:
- Updating the entry at DMOZ Open Directory Project
- Links to duncans.tv from all my other sites.
- Internal links - fixing up indexes and inter-postal references
- Registering the new domain at Technorati.
- Updating the site’s details at Blogshares, Blogflux, Globe of Blogs and The Truth Laid Bear.
- Emailing people who have linked to the old site
Anyone have other suggestions?
